Perfume cakes for Valentine’s Day

An ice cream cake shaped like perfume? They’re the latest creations for Valentine’s Day from Häagen-Dazs China.

The two new cakes that added to the romance of the day are called Perfume pour Elle and Perfume pour Homme. The new cakes were designed in France. They look like premium perfume.

Perfume pour Elle combines strawberry and vanilla ice cream, along with white chocolate, and is – as the advertising points out – “like the elegant lady who makes you intoxicated.”

Perfume pour Homme contains chocolate with cream and cookies, and vanilla ice cream with “fantastic style.”

They both make me want to fly to China right now.

The ads for the cakes feature actress and singer Fan Bingbing.

Häagen-Dazs China also celebrated the day in romantic style. Several stores selling the cakes feature a rose-shaped heart on the wall.

Häagen-Dazs China also gave out roses at the stores. Customers could buy the cakes in person or online.
