5 questions with Donna Svendsen

As we celebrate our “Think Global, Volunteer Local” initiative, we thought the perfect person to hear from in our “5 questions” video series would be Donna Svendsen.

She’s the associate director of Community Action for the General Mills Foundation and she’s in the middle of a busy week. With numerous volunteer events to coordinate and attend, Donna took the time to explain her role, the importance placed on volunteering at General Mills, and what the Foundation does.

Editor’s note: This is the third post in a series highlighting our employee volunteering initiative, Think Global, Volunteer Local. The first post was “Lunch break volunteer,” the second was “Proud to partner with JA” and the final post was “Helping a community bloom again.” For more on our focus on volunteerism, visit GeneralMills.com.
