Tuesday’s Taste – April 10, 2012

We debuted “Tuesday’s Taste” last week here on “A Taste of General Mills.” This is our weekly roundup of recipes and other food-related information from some of our biggest names – Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Tablespoon and more.

Last weekend featured many celebrations with friends and family members and that means lots of leftovers. We found some delicious ideas to use the extra ham, eggs and matzoh.

“Creamy Ham and Tortellini” –

*A quick, easy and tasty weeknight dinner and a totally different take on ham.

“Hearty Ham and Pear Panini” –

*Shake up the traditional ham sandwich by adding some fresh flavors.

“Easy Stuffed Avocado Salad” –

*Creamy avocado, zesty red pepper and briny kalamata olives put a new spin on those brightly colored eggs in this recipe from Sarah Caron, who blogs at “Sarah’s Cucina Bella.”

“Salted Matzoh Toffee” –

*A dessert that’s a sweet end to any meal.

Have a mouthwatering week!
