Why we love working at General Mills

February is the month of love, so we thought we’d check in with a few employees to see why they love working at General Mills. Why would we do this, you may ask?

Because what we’ve found is that it’s usually not the title, the pay or the benefits that get job prospects excited about joining General Mills – as important as all of these things are.

It’s understanding our culture, and feeling the passion and pride of the people who come to work here every day. That’s what convinced me.

I work in our Corporate Recruiting department and regularly talk with job prospects about joining our company. We’ve won a ton of workplace awards over the years, most recently being named a top company for executive women by the National Association for Executive Women.

Endorsements like these – including from organizations such as Fortune and Working Mother magazines – help, but nothing resonates more than the testimonials from the people who work here.

So without further ado, I’d like to introduce you to some of my colleagues so they can tell you – in their own words here on our SlideShare page  – why they love working at General Mills!
