Our picks for Thanksgiving dinner

Considering food is on the minds of millions of people across the U.S. for the Thanksgiving holiday, it’s fitting we devote some time to highlighting some of the best recipes available on some General Mills websites.

Tablespoon

We start with the bloggers of Tablespoon.com. The “Taste for Adventure” page has some great staples, like “Crockpot Stuffing,” of course, from Nick, a.k.a. “Macheesmo.”

You also can find “Cheesy Bacon-Corn Casserole” on Tablespoon, from Stephanie Wise of “girl versus dough.”

Betty Crocker

The “Green Bean Casserole” recipe on BettyCrocker.com is a classic. Easy to make – with Green Giant green beans, of course – this is always a favorite in my house.

Another classic is Betty’s “Cranberry Sauce” recipe, with brown sugar and orange juice.

You also can count on Betty for a variety of tips on making the entire Thanksgiving meal.

Pillsbury

Pillsbury.com has its “Easiest. Thanksgiving. Ever.” page, filled with ideas for the turkey, and more.

For an appetizer, how about “Bacon Cheddar Pinwheels?”

For dessert, you can’t go wrong with “Mystery Pecan Pie,” a recipe from the Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest in 1964.

Have a great Thanksgiving!
