Tuesday’s Taste – September 11, 2012

The kids are settling back in at school, which means you’ll be hearing a lot of, “I’m hungry, can I have a snack?” at the end of the day. It’s time to add to your healthy after school snack repertoire.

Whole-Grain Snack Mix –

This good-for-you mix hits all the right snack notes – crunchy and satisfying.

Granola Fruit Kabobs –

What kid doesn’t love food on a stick they can dip into the crispy, creamy toppings of their choice?

Witches’ Hats Snacks –

Chips don’t have to be unhealthy! Pre-chopped toppings and a smooth squeeze of chipotle cream cheese make this snack quick, easy and fresh.

Red, White and Blue Fruit “Cake” –

When the kids are craving something sweet, this stacked “cake” fits the bill. When watermelon is out of season, you can use sliced apple rings instead.
