Something to eat before tricks and treats

It’s that time of year again – when little ghosts, goblins, Angry Birds and superheroes ring all the doorbells in the neighborhood with a hearty, “Trick or treat!”

You’ve probably already loaded up on the candy to put into the bags of the kids coming to your door. But what could you serve your trick-or-treaters before sending them out? And, what do you do with all that leftover candy?

Here are a few ideas from the General Mills family of websites.

Witches’ Brew – LiveBetterAmerica.com

This fun citrusy, bubbly brew keeps everyone hydrated for trick or treating adventures.

Monster Burgers – Pillsbury.com

Kids will love lending a hand to build these silly sandwiches.

Severed Finger Sugar Cookies – BettyCrocker.com

The gross-out factor is high with these cookies, but no pointing fingers … they’re tasty!

Halloween Chex Mix – Tablespoon.com

What to do with leftover candy? Add it to Halloween Chex Mix that no one can resist.

Happy Halloween!
