A pizza rolls road trip
The Totino’s Pizza Rolls team held a fun sampling event for employees today at our headquarters in Minnesota – the unofficial kick-off of an upcoming tour of several cities across the U.S. in seven weeks.
While the rolls are the main draw at the Totino’s Take Over Truck, several games and activities also are part of the Take Over experience (sumo wrestling, anyone?), there’s also a live DJ.
The truck itself also is ready to roll. It even has pizza on the wheels.
I talked about the Take Over Tour with Marie McLean, integrated marketing communications manager for our frozen foods division.
“Our brand purpose is about making it easier to live happy now, so what’s better than a fun truck tour,” says Marie. “We’re hitting different cities and a variety of events, from concerts to skateboard parks, and more.”
Hear about the Take Over from Marie in this video, along with Anton Vincent, vice president at General Mills, and president of our frozen foods division.
The Totino’s Take Over Truck will be at the Minnesota State Fair in St. Paul over the next few days, Noon to 8 p.m., through Sunday (it will be parked on Wright, between Cooper and Underwood).
After that, check the Totino’s Facebook page for information on its route. Stops include Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, San Antonio and Dallas.
And, follow #totinostakeover on social channels as the truck makes its way from city to city.
