Ready, set, click: Vote for your favorites in The Munchies

Do you live in America’s best food city?

What’s your best bite?

A panel of more than 40 celebrity tastemakers set the stage and now it’s your turn to vote for the third annual Munchies: People’s Choice Food Awards at

“If you love food, then let your voice be heard and help us award the most deserving food experiences America has to offer,” says Kristen Olson, senior food editor and Munchies panelist.

This year’s Munchies nominees reflect many of the latest trends in food and dining.

“We’re seeing some great breweries, ice cream shops and bakeries popping up all over the country that are gaining momentum because of the care and attention they give their individual crafts,” says Kristen.

And due to the food cred of The Munchies panel of tastemakers and the caliber of the nominees, it could be a photo finish.

“We expect to see another year of heated competition, with many nominees tied until the very last day of voting,” says Heather Reid Liebo, food content marketing manager.

Andrew Zimmern, James Beard award-winning TV personality and chef, helped narrow down the nominees in each category and headed up the panel of celebrity judges.

“Food is an integral part of our individual lives and communal culture in America,” says Zimmern. “The Munchies provides a unique opportunity to spark a national conversation about fantastic food and empowers the public to vote who is most deserving.”
