A road trip with the Eh Bee family
“Are we there yet? … I’m hungry!”
July is prime family road trip time – when parents often hear that hunger plea from the back seat – so, Chex Mix just set out on the open road as part of an unpredictably fun vacation with the Eh Bee family (popular video creators on Vine and YouTube).
“Chex Mix’s Deliciously Unpredictable campaign celebrates off-the-wall fun and life’s unforgettable moments and we wanted partners who could have fun and help us make some memories. The Eh Bee Family is perfect for that,” says Rachel Lukoff, an associate marketing manager in our Snacks division.
The five-day road trip started in Yellowstone National Park yesterday and travels to Park City, Utah; Zion National Park; and the Grand Canyon.

TV personality Alfonso Ribeiro also is tagging along for part of the trip, and helped promote it with some media interviews from the road.
While the travelers have some of their activities planned out, like ziplining, kayaking and other adventure sports, fans of the family also can expect a lot of spontaneous fun along the journey.
“We wanted to bring Chex Mix fun to fans in a variety of popular locations, whether that’s in an iconic national park or the parking lot of a local gas station,” says Rachel. “We want our travelers to get out and experience a world-class road trip, and these locations stuck out as some of the most popular and recognizable during a very busy travel season.”
You can join the adventure by following #ChexMixRoadTrip on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and enter to win a prize pack through the Chex Mix Sweepstakes.
“We’re giving away 20 $250 road-trip prize packs to fans who share photos of their own favorite road-trip memories using the hashtag #ChexMixSweepstakes. These prize packs will be awarded randomly, and will give winning fans a nice boost that will make their next road trip even more deliciously unpredictable,” Rachel says. “We’ll also be stopping randomly to give away Chex Mix treats to fellow travelers on the road-trip route.”
