These are the droids you’re looking for
Star Wars fans will soon do a double take in the cereal aisle, as four of our boxes have undergone a movie makeover.
BuzzBee is dressed as Darth Vader on a new collectible box of Honey Nut Cheerios and the Trix Rabbit is paying homage to Princess Leia on his box of Trix.
Also, collectible boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch feature the crazy squares as TIE fighters, the Reese’s Puffs box depicts the iconic Millennium Falcon flying through an asteroid field of puffs and a box of Cookie Crisp features Chip the Wolf dressed as a stormtrooper (on a Family Size box only available at Walmart).
The promotion also includes a collectible prize in the specially marked boxes – an exclusive Droid Viewer, which reveals an image from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, opening in theaters December 18.
Six different Droid Viewers are randomly sorted in the four collectible boxes. The image of the Droid Viewer on the box is not necessarily the one inside. The four specially marked boxes, with Droid Viewers inside, will be available for a limited time.
In addition to those six droids, a limited edition BB-8 Droid Viewer can also be found in specially marked boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch only at select Target stores nationwide.
May the Force be with you!
