The turtles return to the cereal bowl

Fans of Nickelodeon’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” are noticing that some familiar faces are back on the cereal shelf.

Our version featuring Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo offers pieces shaped like their faces – in the colors of their headbands – in a whole grain corn and brown rice cereal with fruity flavor.

“It’s an exciting time to be partnering with these characters, with their popular TV show on Nickelodeon and their new movie coming out this summer,” says Nicholas Law, associate marketing manager, Cereal. “Our team created a unique cereal shape and flavor that we think fans will love when they get a chance to try it.”

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV show is currently in Season 4 on Nickelodeon. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” will be in theaters June 3.

Our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cereal is a limited edition, but should be in stores across the U.S. now through December, including Walmart.

Editor’s note: For a limited time, you also can see the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on several other General Mills products, including yogurt, fruit snacks, Helper and Pillsbury cookies.
