Honey Nut Cheerios features Yoda and Darth Vader, Multigrain Cheerios features Rey (from Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and a stormtrooper, while Cinnamon Toast Crunch features a choice between Chewbacca or R2-D2.
The battle with the dark side doesn’t end in the cereal aisle.
General Mills Canada also released special edition Star Wars packaging on granola bars in two flavors – special editions chocolate cake and vanilla cake, as well as two packages of Yoplait Tubes – a strawberry banana/fruit punch assortment as well as a raspberry/banana assortment.
The yogurt and snack packages change based on flavor and feature Darth Vader, a stormtrooper, R2-D2 and Chewbacca.
Star Wars characters also are featured on Star Wars cereal in Canada, and the U.S.
Star Wars packaging was first rolled out in Canada in June 2016, following the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The excitement for the Star Wars brand doesn’t stop there. This holiday season, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on December 16.
