Cheerios brings peanut butter and chocolate together
Cheerios comes to you in more than a dozen flavors, from Honey Nut to Apple Cinnamon, to even Pumpkin Spice.
The brand’s latest flavor combination takes the deliciousness up a notch. With the introduction of Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios, we put two special flavors in one bowl of breakfast brilliance.
“Peanut Butter and Chocolate are great flavors on their own, but we think they’re even better together,” says Jenny Park, senior marketing communications planner for Cheerios.
And it’s a combination both children and adults can enjoy.
“Kids want cereal that tastes good and parents want to feed their kids something they can feel good about,” Park says. “Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios is just that – it’s delicious and wholesome. It’s made with real cocoa and real peanut butter, has 8 grams of sugar per serving, and uses whole grain oats as the first ingredient. It’s a win-win.”
In this video, our roving reporter brings the taste debate to the streets of Chicago to confirm that peanut butter and chocolate in Cheerio form is a step up from the cereal norm.
