Series 2 of the Cereal Squad features all six characters in their Halloween costumes, plus a spook-tacular surprise from a few of their close friends.

The squad is back

Our Cereal Squad is back for another year.

And this time they’re all dressed up for Halloween!

Find the six spooky toys exclusively in specially marked boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Trix, Cocoa Puffs, Lucky Charms and Cookie Crisp.

And just like last year, the toy in each box is a total surprise, so you’ll never know which character you’ll get.

“Fans loved the Cereal Squad last year, so we’re excited to bring them back for year two,” says Rachel Letsche, assistant manager, Brand Experience, General Mills. “The nostalgia for toys in cereal boxes paired with the surprise and delight element of unboxing the toys has really allowed us to connect with cereal lovers of all ages.”

A spook-tacular surprise

The squad also invited a few of their close friends to join them.

Count Chocula, Franken Berry and Boo Berry are joining the squad this year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Monster Cereals.

But they’re not easy to find!

Count Chocula is very rare (1 in 10 chance), Boo Berry is super rare (1 in 25 chance) and Franken Berry is ultra-rare (1 in 50 chance).

Last year, fans were on the hunt for 600 ultra rare gold figures that were randomly dispersed among the boxes.

“The Monsters have replaced the gold figures as the rare item to find this year, but there’s a lot more than 600 of them,” adds Letsche.

Bonus: If you collect all six boxes, you can build your own Count Chocula castle display. Check out the back of the box for more details.

Cereal Squad toys are available through the end of October.
